I am 33, been married for 6 years to Devin and have two sons. Ford will be 3 October 13th and Cooper will be 6 month on the 16th of September. (They are named after cars on purpose) I will be ordained this April by the Church of the Nazarene as an elder and have been a sr. co-pastor with my husband for three years. This is not my first career pathway because I graduated Olivet Nazarene University with an English Education degree in 1998. I taught in inner-city Houston for 2 years and was a volunteer missionary in Kyrgyzstan for a year and a half. I felt the call to preach at age 15 but denied that calling because I am a girl. Now I am thrilled to be a pastor and preach the gospel!
I join Weight Watchers 15 weeks ago and will always be a recovering food addict. I have no idea why I can’t seem to get my son potty trained. I am a confident woman who faces daily insecurities as a mother. I am constantly fighting hearing the voice of God saying, “Keep shining, sister! I called you and I will equip you!”
